Everyday lives. Extraordinary history.

A city begins with its people

Give your people a home, find them meaningful work and help them master a craft. A thriving polis grows from everyday care.

Grow with your people

Your residents have names, ages and families. Train specialists and prepare apprentices to inherit their rare knowledge.

Bring your city together

Connect farms, workshops, warehouses and markets. Gather materials, deliver goods and trade with neighbouring city-states.

Think beyond the moment

Construction needs skilled hands; an army needs people and supplies. Your choices shape how the city lives today and what it inherits tomorrow.

Campaign I · 479–432 BC

Athens. From ashes to a golden age.

People return to a devastated city. Restore its economy, open the way to maritime trade and bring together the craftspeople who will build the Acropolis.

  1. 479

    The return

    Restore homes, water and food.

  2. 478–463

    A city by the sea

Develop the port and ties with your neighbours.

  3. 447–432

    Stone for Athena

Supply the great building project on the Acropolis.

Real events reshape your plans

Conflict with Samos temporarily closes the island to new trade orders. As history reshapes relations between city-states, you must keep your own city supplied.

Historical events and dates form the campaign's foundation. Dialogue, residents' lives and mythological stories are part of the game's artistic interpretation.
